Glow Into the Weekend: Anastasia’s Favorite Activities
One of Anastasia’s top secrets to the ultimate glow? Making the time to do the things you love. The weekends are a great time to reconnect with yourself and those close to you, creating happiness that will keep you radiant from the inside out. Read on for an exclusive look into Anastasia’s favorite weekend activities and how she chooses to spend her time (besides running a huge beauty empire!) Gardening “I’m always looking forward to spending time in the garden and reconnecting with myself and nature. I usually check on my Rose Garden first, and I find that maintaining it has become incredibly relaxing. I also make sure to pick some flowers to keep in the house to liven up my home for guests or simply just to brighten my space for the week ahead.” Exercise “I’m passionate about my daily walks, and that includes weekends. I prioritize my exercise because I prioritize my health, and I can feel the difference in my body and mood when I stay consistent. I walk around my Beverly Hills neighborhood for at least 45 minutes a day to get the active time I need to feel sharp mentally and fit physically. I also stay pretty consistent with my weight training. It’s easy to keep up with at home, whether it's a busy or laid-back weekend. I have recently gotten really into my new AMP machine...a total game changer for home fitness!” Farmer’s Market “When not dining out at my favorite Beverly Hills restaurants, I really enjoy cooking for the people I love. I wake up early and go to the Farmer’s Market (it’s always happening on Sundays, rain or shine) and stock up on fresh ingredients and produce. It so fun to make new recipes as well as longtime favorites. I always keep things in the house for a last-minute meal if I have guests over and am always ready to host in my backyard on hot summer days.” Family Visits “Every day, I go and see my mom who is 92 and lives locally in Beverly Hills. She’s a total inspiration: incredibly disciplined, eats very well, and loves to work on her passions, all things that she helped teach me. It's so important to stay connected and just relax with those closest to you. It’s good for the soul!” Work “What they say is true...you have to love what you do. It truly makes a difference. My business is my passion, so of course it slips in on the weekends. If it means finalizing a formula or simply hopping on a call to push something along, I do it. I also do a lot of research and spend time getting inspired and up to date on everything in the industry. It doesn’t feel like work, it’s my life!”
